As Singapore's best loved and most publicized mermaid, Syrena first made a name for herself performing at Singapore's events and parties.

In 2015, Syrena founded the Singapore Mermaid School: the first in Singapore, and first of its kind globally for its immersive syllabus that blended physicality, theory, and culture - and was tailored for children and adults.

To date, Syrena has appeared in high-profile news portals the world over: such as Netflix, CNN, HGTV, NHK Japan, Yahoo!, The Diplomat, Channel 5, Channel 8, The Straits Times, CLEO Singapore, Women's Weekly Singapore, Her World Singapore, Shape Magazine Singapore, Sassy Singapore, Marie Claire Malaysia, The Daily Star, Lianhe WanBao, The Peak, ICON Magazine, and Singapore Tatler.

Syrena has performed at myriad iconic Singapore destinations, including: Marina Bay Sands, W Hotel Singapore, Shangri-La Singapore, the launch of Aerotel Singapore, ION Singapore, JW Marriott South Beach, and the Singapore Zoological Gardens. 

She choreographed and executed Singapore's first ever mermaid aquarium performances at the Singapore Zoo.

She was invited to perform at Singapore's first ever outdoor mermaid tank installation at ION Orchard's 10th anniversary: appearing weekly in a custom-built tank created for the occasion. 

Currently, she has a weekly Syrena show at the luxurious Fishpool Bar at JW Marriott South Beach's NCO Club: the first mermaid restaurant in Southeast Asia!

Syrena holds a continuing post as a Finfolk Productions ambassador, and was a Miss Universe Singapore 2017 Top 10 Finalist.

Circa 2023, Syrena appeared on Netflix as an industry pioneer, and a guest judge of the prestigious Kings & Queens of the Sea.

Living proof that the impossible can happen, Syrena continues to hold her title as a trailblazer in the industry, and one of the world's most renowned mermaids.
